Sales Funnel Explained.

What Is A Sales Funnel? (And Why Websites Don't Work Anymore) | by Suzanne Perkins M | Medium

Sales Funnel Explained.

So, what is a sales funnel and why do we need them in a business. Well, Sales funnel is a pipeline for customers to flow along before they can buy a product.

Lets understand this with an example.

Lets say a customer visits a website. In this stage the customer is considered a LEAD. Now, the customer goes through a bunch of products on your website and suddenly notices a free merchandise which could be achieved just by sharing the person's email and contact.

The deal sounds great. The customer provides the email and receives the coupon code in the mail which the person can now redeem from nearby store.

We have the email and contact, right. Now in Sales Funnel this stage is called the prospecting stage the the customer is now called a PROSPECT.

The email and contact will now be used to send marketing promotional campaigns and transactional emails based on the customers behaviour and interaction throughout the customer journey.

Well lets say at this stage the customer finds an exclusive deal on shoes and goes ahead and purchases them. At this stage the customer has become a CONTACT.

This is what a sales funnel is. Its the customers journey from lead to becoming a contact.

Hope this helps.

Is React Native Garbage ?

Well we shall look into two different scenarios inorder to understand this fully. Scenario 1. Company like Google or Apple who wants to release an app and wants real crazy fast app load, wants better control over hardware and does not much care about the cost of hiring teams of native developers for different platforms. This is the case when one should opt for Native code bases like Java or Swift.  Now lets look at our next Scenario. Scenario 2. A startup wants to grow crazy fast. It has cost constraint but wants to reach the consumer base of both web, ios and android. In such a scenario, the startup settles down with a framework like React Native and does not bother if the app loads up a little slow, and serves its purpose of getting to the larger audience faster with a bunch of Javascript Developers. So, nothing is garbage. Its just two different scenarios and different priorities based on Business demand.
