If you are preparing for any of the FANG companies you must remember their interviews basically consists of below -

1. Coding

2. System Design

3. Communication and Behaviourial


So, inorder to get started below are the two main steps which will help you achieve -

1. Book - Cracking the coding interview

2. Leetcode


This above tips apply to all software engineering interviews which involve positions like SDE1, SDE2 etc. 


Is there any other way to get into these companies, if you are wondering if you are not a pro at competitive coding, well yes, there is a workaround.

What is it ?

You can always apply for these companies at any point of time in your career. Let's say  you have joined a more generic company like Accenture, Cognizant  or TCS. These companies will set you up on track on some tech stack like Salesforce, Adobe, React, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, IBM Blueprism etc.


Now, you are skilled and experienced on any of the above tech stack. You visit any of these company website and you are sure enough to find some role which is in the list from the above.


Well, now its time to switch to these companies, they will interview on above tech stack you have been working on for years.

And thats the way.


In my personal career I have seen developers who have worked on Salesforce tech stack move to Salesforce itself. Also, I have seen developers working on Adobe Campaign move to Adobe.


If you are in a situation to think about service and product companies. Well let me tell you, I have seen people move back and forth between these companies, and once you are experienced, it does not really matter.
